Happy Birthday Baby!

Well, it's official, it has now been exactly 1 year since Van took his first breath! It's amazing how fast it has gone! For those in the area, we sure hope to see you Saturday at the party! Love to all

FINALLY . . . an answer!

Ok . . . for all of those who have been following the employment, or rather, unemployment saga of my husband . . . lol . . . he did get the job at that place in Niles!!! Yea! He starts on October 30th, and we couldn't be happier. Finally! It seems like things might just be falling into place. I am very proud of Chris, and whenever any of you see him or email him, please congratulate him because this has been a very hard year on him. Well, and it's been hard on us as a family as well. Hopefully now we can put at least our financial troubles behind us and get on track! Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers. We love you all.

And . . . he's off!

Hello everyone . . . guess who's walking??? Yep, its Van! I knew it was going to be soon because over the weekend he was really getting brave and letting go of the couch to walk about 5 steps to the coffee table. Well, now he's walking EVERYWHERE! It is soooo cute!!! And . . . he's walking JUST in time for his birthday party! I will have pics of the party up soon afterward, but I hope to get some shots of little Mr. Speedracer up soon as well. Now the fun REALLY begins!

15 days and counting!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe we are only 2 weeks away from Van's 1st birthday! How crazy is that? The party is pretty well put together, I am going in the Friday night before the party and decorating, and then Saturday morning, I will be putting icing on all the little pumpkin cakes. I'm still trying to decide if I want to do sloppy joes & hot dogs, or just order some pizza. I should go the easy route and order pizza. I think it will turn out really cute. I am going to make a DVD of it to send to Grandma & Grandpa Bradshaw, and Grandpa Brown, since they can't make it. :( Oh well, it should still be a good time. Well, I will keep you updated on how things went, and put up pictures ASAP.
