Enjoy the latest....

Well, here are the latest pics...
As everyone can tell, Van is growing out of control... and he's so smart. I cannot tell you how much joy that little baby has brought into my life! He is probably the happiest and most content baby you will ever meet, never cries.... always smiling or laughing! Just a joy to be around. Well, enjoy..l. and leave lots and lots of comments!

"How's anyone supposed to take me seriously with Dad's HUGE hat on my head?"

"Again... Baxter, you're hilarious!"

Pictures galore!

This is me and my baby boy - picture taken out on our deck.

Crawling... here we come!

Well, Van is not crawling yet, but I'm sure it will just be a matter of days now. Saturday was the first time he's actually gotten up on his hands and knees and started rocking back & forth! Time for a gate for the top of the stairs. Also, and I don't know if I put this yet... but he's clapping and waving bye bye (sometimes)... so he's a little smarty! But... no recognizable words yet. He talks ALOT! Just not saying anything that I can distinguish as actual words relating to me or Chris or Caleb or bottle. Just a bunch of babbling! I have a feeling when he finally does, though, he will never stop talking! His brother was the same way... :) Anyway, Caleb is doing well, he just left for Camp Fitch for 3 days... he has such crappy weather... I wish it were sunny and 75! But noooo.... it's raining and in the mid-50's. I hate Ohio weather. I wish we could move somewhere warmer and sunnier! Oh well. Maybe some day! School is going great. I start my next class Friday night and then another one on Saturday (an all day). Not looking forward to that. Ok... well, better get back to work.. hopefully, I'll get pics up soon.

They're everywhere... they're everywhere!

Ok... no more updating when Van gets a tooth because they just keep-a comin' !! Soon he'll be eating our food with us at dinner! It's sooo funny to see such a little thing have so many teeth! Caleb didn't have any until he was 8 months old! I will definitely try to get a pic of that mouthful up as soon as possible. Keep coming back!

6 month check-up

Well, Van is growing... as we suspected ;0) He's now 27 inches long, 17.3 lbs & his head circumference is 16.75 inches. Doc Sansoterra says he looks great... and even gave us a pat on the back stating, "Keep up the great job!" I guess that means we're good parents! :) Another tooth has popped thru on the bottom... so scratch what I said before... there's now 5. Anyway... he's doing just awesome and we feel sooo blessed to have such a beautiful and healthy child. Pics coming soon!

More Teeth!

Hello all, well... our little munchkin has gotten 2 more teeth on top for a total of 4 and he's got at least 2 more that are just moments from breaking thru... as a matter-of-fact, they may be in by the time I get home from work today! :) He is getting soooo big and so handsome, I just can't believe it! He's now sitting on his own without any help from Mommy or Daddy and will stay in that position for about 10 to 15 minutes before finally plopping over. His 6 month appointment is Thursday, so I can accurately update you all then on his growth... but as much as he eats, I wouldn't be surprised if he's 20lbs. He's wearing 6-9 month clothes right now and they are JUST fitting! What a little pudge. Caleb is playing baseball, and doing much better. Chris works with him almost daily now and it seems that he's finally gotten some kind of initiative for team sports.... but he still likes the individual stuff better (dirtbiking, 4-wheeling, etc.) I'm actually thinking about trying to find him a used dirtbike soon... the electric one we got him for Christmas has already gotten boring. I guess it will be a hand-me-down to Van. Chris passed his Corrections Officer test with flying colors... so we're hoping to hear something from the State of Ohio soon about his employment... although we DO have until Jan of next year before we really have to worry! School is going well for me, I've got another paper due this weekend, shouldn't be too much of a hard project... just have to try and imagine what life was like in the 19th century in Ohio and write about it. I think it will be fun... gonna start on it tonight. Soon I will be posting more photos. Will definitely try and get some great shots of the teethers. Write more on Thursday...
