Teething... Easter... School...

Well, recentlyVan has started breaking thru 3 teeth on the top... and it has been hard on the little guy, but he's been tough. He doesn't really cry, just more like "complains" about it. And, of course, chews on anything near his mouth creating lots and lots of drool. Baxter almost got it the other day... :) Other than that, he's been doing great. He eats pretty much everything now. He even has the chewing motion down. He sleeps pretty consistently thru the night, unless his day routine is messed with too much. He's just all around a great baby. Not real sure how I got so lucky to have 2 great kids... but God has definitely blessed me.
Easter was good. We went to church, of course, and then had dinner at my Mom's boyfriend's house with his kids & grandkids. They had an Easter Egg Hunt, which Caleb enjoyed immensely and then after dinner, the kids (including my big kid, Chris) played "War" out in the yard. Since Dave lives in front of a golf course, there were plenty of golf balls to use as "grenades." I kinda wish they wouldn't have played "War," hide-n-seek would have been nice. Mom & Dave got Van the cutest little summer outfit. It's 2 diff shades of green in a checked pattern, overalls, and frogs on the front... also there a fisherman's hat that goes with it. Too adorable. Can't wait to see him in all of his summer garb. Mom Bradshaw got him some cute outfits for summer too... that kid is VERY well dressed.
School is going well for me... I've got a 4-6 page paper due this Saturday which I'm kinda stressing about, but it will all work itself out. Actually, I love writing papers... they are kinda my forte. School is also going well for Caleb, he really seems to be maturing in that area. One thing that is worrying me is that he seems to be maturing in other areas as well. Apparently he's noticed girls because he's been working out every day to look good for this little girl named Sidney... how cute and frightening at the same time.
Chris is doing as well as can be expected, just wanting to start working ASAP. Hopefully his civil service test will go well on the 27th of this month. Pray for him.
All in all - everything is going very well here in Bradshaw land.

Love to all,
Chris, Teri, Caleb & Van

My Weightloss Journey

Hey everyone... Well, as you know, I am extremely unhappy with my weight right now, so I decided to try out L A Weight Loss. They say I should be 75lbs thinner by Christmas... so I'm thinking that would be a really great Christmas present for my husband. For those of you who are saying, "She doesn't need to lose 75lbs!!!" Believe me, I do. It's ALL in there! That's right... just another 25lbs and I would have been a candidate for gastric bypass. Sometime I will tell all of you how much I weigh(ed) but for right now I'm just too embarrassed. But, after I've lost it all, it will just be a memory... soo... I can WOW everyone! :)

So anyway... I started last Saturday, and I've lost 5lbs this week. Hard to believe I know... but it's true. They say, that's typical, and I'll probably lose 2-3 lbs a week from here on out. I WILL wear a bikini again someday! Watch... I'll get skinny, and then Chris will get me pregnant AGAIN! Heehee! :) Oh well! Speaking of Chris... he's a little on the robust side himself these days.... so although he's not following what I eat exactly... he's trying to stick with it a bit. Besides a few peanut butter eggs here and there... lol :) So anyway... pray for me and I'll keep everyone updated on my progress.

Oh also, I start school tomorrow AGAIN. Will be tough with Van, but I have to get this done. Thankfully Chris is a great husband and REALLY supportive.

Will write again soon!

Love you all
Teri

My Caleb... Love him sooo much

Here are some pics of Caleb. He's getting SO big and handsome! It's so scary to think that within a few years my baby's going to be dating. God I'm getting old. Anyway... he's playing baseball this year, so I'm sure I'll be posting a ton of shots of that soon. Enjoy.

Caleb having a little fun with his dog Baxter - look closely... that's right... Baxter is wearing one of Van's DIAPERS! Heehee! Well, I guess he's Caleb's baby.... plus... he does have accidents once in a while... a diaper might not be a bad idea. Forgive Caleb's pants... but he's a boy... he was riding his dirt bike thru the mud.

There's that ornery look I love so much!

This picture I think Caleb looks so much like his father Erin. I just want to know when I'm gonna get a kid that looks like ME! :)
