Hello all, and I'm wishin you the luck o' the Irish. Well, sleepless night last night. Van has been waking up in the middle of the night and wanting a bottle. As you can all tell, he isn't missing any meals, so I don't know why he's so hungry in the middle of the night. Well, last night I did something soooo painful. I let him cry himself back to sleep. It took an hour and a half! Oh my goodness! I think he actually wakes up because he doesn't like being alone and wants me or Daddy to hold him tight, but he's got to figure out how to fall back asleep on his own. This morning when I went upstairs he was completely sideways in his crib. Also, yesterday evening, he was sitting pretty good, except he had a hard time keeping his head up, which then of course made him fall forward. But... it was kind of funny because when he slumped forward into my lap, his feet planted on the floor and he actually stood up... lol. It was funny. I mean, I know he wasn't TRYING to stand up, but he sure did.... bent over at the waist! :) So... I'm pretty sure that Chris and I are going to have to lower the crib mattress and start putting the side up, just in case he decides to start pulling himself up all of a sudden. Wouldn't want him to do a somersault out of the crib. Hmmm.. what else... he tried chicken noodle dinner the other night and didn't absolutely hate it... so that's good. Oh... and he sings back at you. It's so cute! I was just singing "ahh, ahhh, ahhh!" and then he'd answer me trying to mimic how my voice sounded. What a little smarty! When I walked in from work yesterday, he was in his swing and must of heard me walk in... he started babbling to me, like he was wanting to say... "Woman, it's about time you came home, now get over here and hold me!" So I did. I forgot how wonderful this time is. I'm actually looking forward to having another one! Call me crazy. But I just can't wait to try for a little girl. Well, enough babbling.... I'll write more soon.
P.S. The scrapbook is coming along wonderfully!
